1991年富山市生まれ。2014年三重大学教育学部美術教育コース卒。

小学校臨任講師を経て2015年よりアクリル画を中心に制作を始める。

描く対象として主に線画による女性像と色の重なりによる抽象がある。

人物と色の重なりは肉体と魂に由来する。

自身が女性としての身体を持ち生まれたことへの受容、自身を通して他人を見る姿勢を表す。

私たちが見ることのできる表面的な形体と、内面に見えずに存在している形体が正しくある時、私たちは調和する。それらが正しくない時私たちは分離する。

正しさとは実直であるということである。

Born 1991 in Toyama, Japan, with an art education from the University of Mie in 2014, Eri Kiwa explores the intricate connection of body and soul through her art. After serving as an elementary school teacher, Kiwa started to produce mainly acrylic paintings in 2015.

The base of artwork, there’s a female image by line drawing and the abstraction by layers of colours. It is derived from the human body and soul.

She has accepted her body, which was born as a woman, she shows to see other people through herself when she meets them.

The form of the outside that we can look, the form of inside that we can’t look, when these are accurate, we will match accord. When these are not accurate, we will separate.

To be accurate means, to be honest.
